TOFFEE BITS PRODUCTION DIAGRAM
TOFFEE

Groen Oil Jacketed Kettle Cooker
Featuring an auto-mixing blade, this large volume kettle cooker can produce perfectly mixed syrups to season or flavor your snacks. Oil jacketed kettles can also produce confections, which means that we can produce things like toffee peanuts or similar items.

SHEET

Liquid toffee is poured onto sheet pans and cooled
We pour specific weights into each tray to create the same height on the toffee slabs, which makes for more uniform pieces. This also allows us to batch out multiple rounds of toffee before moving into breaking and dicing.

BREAK

Sheets of toffee are broken into smaller pieces

DICE

Adjustable Chopper/Dicer
This dicer uses multiple metal teeth to break products like hard candies like toffee or to dice things like larger nuts into smaller similar sized pieces.

SIFT

Dust and small pieces are removed and only pieces of the desired size remain

PILLOW BAG

Matrix Form Fill Sealer with 10 Head Scale
Pillow Bags are used as either single serve portions or as inner packages inside product boxes.
POUCH BAG

Yilong Pouch Bagger with 10 Head Scale
Resealable pouches are used for multiple serving packages as they can be resealed, extending the shelf life of an opened package for the consumer.
BULK

Bulk Packed into White Boxes
Bulk Boxes are a great way to stock up on samples or component ingredients without incurring a large packaging cost

CADDY (optional)

Available as both thinner whiteboard caddies that get packed into master cases or as ships in its own caddy made of corrugate
PRODUCT BOX (optional)

Econocorp Twin Seal Cartoner
Product boxes are a great way to create a sturdy package for your product that stands on its own and uses a recyclable material.

MASTER CASE

Corrugate Cardboard Boxes that can be pre-printed with your company information

CARDBOARD SHIPPER (optional)

Available fully printed and can ship stocked or folded flat with caddies/master cases shipped separately
Shippers are typically used by brick and mortar stores to display holiday or products with a limited-time promotion. In grocery stores, shippers are a good way to move more product as they don’t get lost in the middle of a shelf.

TOFFEE TYPES

Traditional Diced Toffee Bits – Similar in formulation to caramel, Traditional Toffee is made with sugar, butter, and cream. Cooked to a higher temperature, which causes the Toffee to become a hard texture when cooled, rather than a soft texture like caramel. Traditional Toffee can be diced into fine pieces, perfect for inclusions within truffles, chocolates, or baked goods.

Flavored Diced Toffee Bits – Like Traditional Toffee, Flavored Toffee starts with the same ingredients, but by adding all natural flavors and extracts, we can transform the Traditional Toffee into one that can feature flavors like orange, chocolate, or coconut. Same as Traditional Toffee, Flavored Toffee can also be diced into fine pieces and used as an inclusion in confections and baked goods.

Alternative Sugar Diced Toffee Bits – In Alternative Sugar Toffee, we substitute a blend of alternative sugars for the sugar in Traditional Toffee. These toffees end up with a similar texture and flavor as Traditional Toffees. These toffees make for great inclusions in alternative sugar confections and baked goods.
