SNACKS & MIXES PRODUCTION DIAGRAM

SYRUP

Groen Oil Jacketed Kettle

Featuring an auto-mixing blade, this large volume kettle cooker can produce perfectly mixed syrups to season or flavor your snacks. Oil jacketed kettles can also produce confections, which means that we can produce things like toffee peanuts or similar items.

SEASON

Stokes Seasoning Pan

With controlled speed and ribs that help tumble the contents of the pan, our seasoning pans can ensure that your products are evenly coated with both liquid and dry ingredients. We use these pans to make everything from cereals to snack mixes and flavored nuts/seeds.

BAKE

Revent Rotating Rack Ovens

Featuring a central rotating point, these ovens are loaded with full racks and provide even heating for scalable production. With belt driven ovens, you can experience a significant degree of waste due to hot spots. Rotating rack ovens prevent that by both using convection fans to circulate the hot air and by rotating the racks as well to prevent hot spots from forming. These ovens are great to set the seasoning on a snack mix and provide a kill step, improving your product’s shelf life and overall food safety.

POUCH BAG

PRODUCT BOX (optional)

Econocorp Twinseal Cartoner

Product boxes are a great way to create a sturdy package for your product that stands on its own and uses a recyclable material.

SHIPPER (optional)

Available fully printed and can ship stocked or folded flat with caddies/master cases shipped separately

Shippers are typically used by brick and mortar stores to display holiday or products with a limited-time promotion. In grocery stores, shippers are a good way to move more product as they don’t get lost in the middle of a shelf.

TYPES OF SNACKS

Traditional Snack Mix – Featuring a blend of ingredients like puffed cereal pieces, pretzels, breadsticks, chips, and nuts or seeds, Traditional Snack Mixes have been around for decades. We can make a wide variety of snack mix shapes with our ability to puff dried cereal pieces in house. We can source a variety of dried cereal pellets with different bases from a number of vendors. Your favorite snack mix flavors are easily done with a combination of our wet and dry flavorings and then baking the snack mixes to set the flavors and extend the shelf life. Traditional Snack Mixes can be sweet or savory and a large variety of ingredients like nuts, seeds, dried fruit, candy, pretzels, cookies, breadsticks, pretzels, etc.

Flavored Nuts or Seeds – Featuring a wide variety of flavors, we can create sweet and savory nuts and seeds, as well as trail mixes featuring dried fruit. By flavoring the mixtures, then baking them, we set the flavors into the nuts and improve the shelf life dramatically. We have experience making both sweet and savory nuts or seeds. For example we can candy pecans, as well as create savory syrups to make a delicious roasted seeds mix.

Puffed Snacks – Using our hot air puffer, we can take dried cereal pieces sourced from a number of vendors and make Puffed Snacks. These puffed snacks are then flavored and used in snack mixes or by themselves as alternatives to chips. We can make puffed snacks featuring ingredients like chickpeas, corn, wheat, potato, sweet potato, and rice to name a few. We can make sweet and savory versions, ranging from a hot and spicy barbeque to birthday cake.
